Grace - V-Neck Tunic (crochet)

Light and breezy tunic with a drawstring tie at the V-neck. Sizes S to L (30-40in/76 to 102cm bust). Shown in Patons Grace, #60130 Sky and #60005 Snow, crochet using 3.5 mm (US E or 4) hook.

2nd row: Ch 3 (counts as dc). Miss first ch 1 sp. 1 dc in next ch 1 sp. 1 dc into missed ch 1 sp working behind previous dc. *1 dc in next ch 1 sp. 1 dc back into previous ch 1 sp, working behind last dc. FINISHING
Pin garment pieces to measurements. Steam lightly and cover with a damp cloth leaving to dry.
Sew shoulder seams.

Neck Edging: With RS of work facing, join MC with ss to first st at left shoulder.
1st rnd: Ch 1. Work 1 row of sc evenly around V-neck edging. Place marker on st at point of V-shaping.
2nd rnd: *Ch 4 (counts as Ch 1 and dc). Miss next sc. 1 dc in next sc. Rep from * around, working across center 3 sts as follows: Yoh and draw up a loop in next sc before marker. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook. Yoh and draw up a loop in marked sc. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook. Yoh and draw up a loop in next sc. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook -Dc3tog made.
3rd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in each st around. Fasten off.

Sew in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams.

Lower Edging: With RS of work facing, join A with ss at side seam.
1st rnd: Ch 3 (counts as dc). Miss next ch 1 sp. 1 dc in next ch 1 sp. 1 dc into missed ch 1 sp working behind previous dc. *1 dc in next ch 1 sp. 1 dc back into previous ch 1 sp, working behind previous dc. Rep from * around. Join with ss in top of ch 3. Fasten off.

Sleeve Edging: Work as given for Lower Edging.

With A, make a chain 38 (40-42) ins [96.5 (101.5-107) cm] long. Fasten off. Thread through 2nd row of eyelets around lower edge of Back and Front.
With A, make 2 chains 10 ins [25.5 cm] long. Thread through the 2nd row of eyelets on each sleeve.
With A, make a chain 36 ins [91.5 cm] long. Thread through the eyelet row around neck and tie in a bow as illustrated.
