MEASUREMENT
Approx 4 ins [10 cm] wide.

MATERIALS
Patons® Classic Wool (100 g/3.5 oz)
77732 (That’s Pink) 1 ball

Size 4.5 mm (U.S. 7) crochet hook or size needed to obtain tension.

TENSION
18 dc and 6 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

STITCH GLOSSARY
Approx = Approximately.
Ch = Chain.
Dc = Double crochet.
Hdc = Half double crochet.
Rem = Remaining.
Sc = Single crochet.
Tog = Together.
Tr = Treble crochet.

INSTRUCTIONS
Small Petals (make 5)
Ch 4.
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in next ch. 3 sc in last ch. Working into rem loops on opposite side of ch, 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. 1 hdc in next sc. 2 dc in next sc. 5 dc in next sc. 2 dc in next sc. 1 hdc in next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Fasten off.

Medium Petals (make 6)
Ch 6.
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each of next 3 ch. 3 sc in last ch. Working into rem loops on opposite side of ch, 1 sc in each of next 4 ch. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 2 sc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 sc. 2 dc in next sc. 5 dc in next sc. 2 dc in next sc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 sc. 1 sc in each of last 2 sc. Fasten off.

Large Petals (make 5)
Ch 9.
1st row: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each of next 6 ch. 3 sc in last ch. Working into rem loops on opposite side of ch, 1 sc in each of next 7 ch. Turn.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in each of first 2 sc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 sc. 1 dc in each of next 2 sc. 2 dc in next sc. 5 tr in next sc. 2 dc in next sc. 1 dc in each of next 2 sc. 1 hdc in each of next 2 sc. 1 sc in each of last 2 sc. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Sew ends of each group of petals tog tightly (small, medium and large) overlapping petals slightly to form spirals. Ends of petals will curl. Sew 3 layers of petals tog placing medium layer on top of large layer and small layer on top of medium layer.
