Materials
Patons® Decor (100 g/3.5 oz)
Main Color (MC) (Blue) 2 balls
Contrast A (Aran) 1 ball

Size 4½ mm (U.S. 7) knitting needles or size needed to obtain tension.
One 12 x 16 ins [30.5 x 40.5 cm] pillow form.

Tension
20 sts and 26 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

Instructions
With MC, cast on 63 sts.
**Work 4 rows in stocking st.
Next row: K3. *yfwd. K2tog. K5. Rep from * to last 4 sts. yfwd. K2tog. K2.
Beg with a purl row work 4 rows in stocking st.
Next row: Knit (fold line).
Beg with a knit row work 4 rows in stocking st.
Next row: K3. *yfwd. K2tog. K5. Rep from * to last 4 sts. yfwd. K2tog. K2.
Beg with a purl row work 3 rows in stocking st.**
Proceed in stripe pat as follows:
1st row: (Right side). With A, knit.
2nd row: Purl.
3rd row:With MC, knit.
4th row: Purl.
5th and 6th rows: As 1st and 2nd rows.
7th and 8th row: As 3rd and 4th rows.
9th to 14th rows: Rep 7th to 8th rows, 3 times.
These 14 rows form pat.
Rep last 14 rows 13 more times, then work 1st to 6th rows once more. Work from ** to **. Cast off.

FINISHING
Twisted cord: Cut 6 strands of A, 2 yds (180 cm) long. With both strands together hold one end and with someone holding other end, twist strands to the right until they begin to curl. Fold the 2 ends together and tie in a knot so they will not unravel. The strands will now twist themselves together. Adjust length if desired.
Sew cast on and cast off edges of hems to wrong side, matching eyelets. Sew top and bottom edges together matching stripes. Insert pillow form. Thread cord through eyelets as illustrated.
